Learning Objectives

1.Understand the importance of personalized
treatment and Molecular Analysis for Therapy
Choice

2. Recognize new updates in the area of surgical
oncology including: diseases increasing in
frequency and newer treatment modalities

3. Consider melanoma prevention, treatment,
advanced therapy including limb perfusion

4. Identify pancreatic tumors and their
management including the cystic neoplasms
and minimally invasive approaches

5. Show familiarity with HPV related tumors

6. Discuss management of airway tumors know current state of the art or the routine problems

7. Recognize that some apparently impossible problems can be managed with advanced techniques

8. Show familiarity with the 3 D printing trachea project

9. Heighten awareness of Mediastinal Tumors: minimally and maximally invasive approaches

10. Enhanced personal effectiveness and comfort in conducting end-of-life discussions.Compassionately handle patient and family emotional responses to such discussions

11. Facilitate alignment of patient goals with the care they receive

12. Describe current epidemiology of breast cancer and screening methods for early detection

13. Describe rationale behind current recommendations for breast cancer screening
