ResearChME: Home

ResearChME is Vassar Brothers Medical Center's answer to Internet Point of Care (PoC) Continuing Medical Education.  The AMA has advised CME providers that this online format will allow physicians to have the opportunity to receive AMA/PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for Internet PoC learning.  ResearChME is structured, self directed, online learning by physicians on topics relevant to their clinical practice at the point of care.  

Vassar Brothers Medical Center medical staff may claim one-half (0.5) AMA/PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™ for conduction research on a given topic.    A separate form must be completed for each topic researched.  Only approved databases with professional, peer-reviewed literature may be used to claim credit.  


Complete the on-line form below. Simply click the submit button and your form will be sent to the department. Credits obtained through ResearChME will be added to your CME transcript which you receive annually and upon request.

Credit Statement

Vassar Brothers Medical Center is accredited by the Medical Society of the State of New York  to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Vassar Brothers Medical Center designates this Internet Point of Care activity for a maximum of .5 AMA/PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Participants should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

ANCC - 1 CME is the equivalent of one contact hour or .1 CEU
