Program Description & Objectives

 

This activity is designed to equip medical professionals with the capability to respond ethically to their community's needs in the occurence of man-made and natural disasters.  Vassar Brothers Medical Center's Ethics Committee is offering a panel discussion to address this and other ethical considerations in disaster preparedness.

Accreditation & Disclosure

 

CMEVassar Brothers Medical Center is accredited by the Medical Society of the State of New York to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. Vassar Brothers Medical Center designates this educational activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The faculty of CME programs are expected to exhibit scientific rigor and to provide educational information that is objective and well balanced.  Faculty members are required to disclose to the audience any commercial relationship that could be perceived as a potential, apparent, or real conflict of interest.
