ResearChME is Vassar Brothers Medical Center's answer to Internet Point of Care (PoC) Continuing Medical Education.  The AMA has advised CME providers that this online format will allow physicians to have the opportunity to receive AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM for Internet PoC learning.  ResearChME is structured, self directed, online learning by physicians on topics relevant to their clinical practice at the point of care.

OBJECTIVES:  At the conclusion of this educational activity, participants should be better able to:

1         Refine existing diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and means of managing patients with cardiac disease.
2         Evaluate new methods of invasive and non-invasive diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiac disease.
3         Utilize a multidisciplinary approach to incorporating new methods of therapy for cardiac patients.
4         Define problematic complex cases in order to reduce future complications and improve patient outcomes.
