COURSE DESCRIPTION

This activity is designed for Primary Physicians, family practitioners, surgeons, other health care professionals, and nurses who care for patients with traumatic injury.    The conference is designed to assist health care providers caring for injured and critically ill trauma patients navigate the complex, dynamic, and time sensitive process. The full day course will be presented by expert faculty of clinicians at the forefront of the field.  An evidence based curricula highlighting the multidisciplinary approach to trauma will be provided.

 

The Keynote lecture is provided in part by:
Robert M. Weiss, M.D. | Memorial Lectureship
Over the course of his professional life, Dr. Robert
M. Weiss demonstrated his profound love and
respect for medicine through his excellent skills as
a neurosurgeon, his compassion for his patients and
his never-ending pursuit of excellence. Following his
death in 1985, the Foundation for Vassar Brothers
Medical Center, with the assistance of Dr. Weiss’s
widow, Esther, and friends throughout the community,
created an annual lecture fund in his memory. We are
