Learning Objectives

Following the completion of this conference, attendees should be able to:

  1. Evaluate activities that are associated with an increased risk
    of traumatic brain injury and consider appropriate management

  2. Compare new and evolving concepts in trauma and fracture
    management from initial evaluation through to rehabilitation

  3. Evaluate and treat common sports injuries of the shoulder,
    elbow, hip, knee, fingers, and ankle

  4. Describe trends in anesthesia for orthopedic surgery 

  5. Compare various options for disc replacement surgery

  6. Recognize different types of pain management procedures

  7. Evaluate the various options available for robot-assisted and
    computer assisted orthopedic surgery and navigation devices
